As part of the Feed Ghana Initiative, which aims to reduce the importation of food items that can be produced locally, the Birim Central Municipal Assembly (BCMA) has received hundreds of bags of fertilizer to support local farmers.

The fertilizers will be distributed to local farmer groups and cooperatives across the municipality to enhance agricultural productivity, increase local food production and improve the livelihoods of farmers.

This intervention forms part of the government's commitment to strengthening food security, promoting sustainable agriculture and encouraging the production of locally grown crops to reduce the nation's dependence on food imports.
